Adam Handler was born in Queens, NY and studied life drawing in Italy, then learned art history back in New York. The artist is known to be inspired by the female figures in his family: His wife, mother, and grandmother. His simple yet bold paintings consist elements such as ghosts, bats, insects. Using acrylic paint, oil stick, pencil, marker pens, the artist creates not only his unique style of painting but also a character. The lines and colors remind of naïve art, taking the viewers back to their childhood.
